Private Touring
Based in Darwin and operating since 1989, we specialise in soft adventure luxury 4WD private charter touring to or from anywhere throughout the Top End of Outback Northern Territory. Catering to the discerning client, itineraries are "tailor made" to meet special interests and budget. Tours can depart on any day year round. We are happy to provide an obligation free detailed itinerary and cost.

Scheduled Touring
We also offer a range of small group scheduled tours (maximum just 6 people) departing Darwin on various days and guarantee departure with just 2 people. These tours take in Litchfield National Park, Kakadu National Park, Bamurru Plains Safari Camp on the Mary River Wetlands and various destinations in Arnhem Land, including Davidson Arnhem Land Safari Camp, Seven Spirit Bay Wilderness Lodge, Injalak Art Centre and an Aboriginal guided rock art tour. We also now offer the new Dugong beach Resort on remote Groote Elandt in East Arnhem Land.

Touring experience
Our tours are experiential rather than just sight seeing. They are informative without being scientific expeditions, strongly featuring Aboriginal rock art and culture, flora, fauna and remote spectacular landscapes well away from the crowds.

Itineraries
Uncluttered and relaxing with plenty of time to stop and enjoy.

Vehicles
Fully equipped luxury Toyota GXL 4WD Landcruisers, licensed to carry 7 passengers plus driver. Air-conditioned, forward facing seats, bull bars, winches, first aid kits, reference books, binoculars, luggage racks, satellite telephone equipped.

Guides
Uniformed, experienced, professional and locals who know the country intimately, first aid certified.

Accommodation and sub tours
We stay at the best available lodge, hotel or safari camp accommodation and use only the highest standard of sub tours, flights and cruises.

Meals
Tours include all breakfasts, morning tea/snacks and lunches. Evening meals and alcohol are not included and is at clients own expense. When visiting Seven Spirit Bay, Davidson Safari Camp or Bamurru Plains all meals are included. Special dietary restrictions can be catered for if notified well in advance.

Small groups
Our scheduled tours are kept to a maximum of just 6 clients to ensure a more personalised experience. This does not extend to any sub tour that may be included in the program, ie cruises, scenic flights etc, where there may be more than 6 people participating in that part of the program. NOTE: Larger groups can also be catered for.

Guaranteed departures
On scheduled tours we guarantee departure with a minimum of 2 clients. On private tailor made tours the minimum is 1.

We are a small privately owned company offering a quality and personalised service with a focus on attention to detail.

Licences /Accreditations/ Insurance etc
Brookes Australia Tours undertakes to hold valid all licences, permits, accreditations, memberships and insurances as is legally required to operate safari tours in the Northern Territory.

Period of operations
We operate year round in the Top End.
