Conditions
Brookes Australia Tours does not accept any liability in contract or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including but not limited to fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or any other authorities, accidents to, or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such action may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group).
We reserve the right to amend any program as we deem necessary due to weather, seasonal road conditions, logistics, or for Aboriginal cultural reasons.

Payment/Cancellations/Changes
Unless other arrangements have been made: We require a non refundable deposit of 20% of the total within 7 days of booking. The balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to departure.
Bookings made within 30 days of travel must be paid for in full immediately upon confirmation. If changes are requested to any booking after it has been confirmed by us, an administration fee of not less than NETT AUD$100 will be charged. If cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of 20% of the total will be charged (see above 20% non refundable deposit).
Cancellations occurring 30 days or less prior to departure will incur the following charges:
15 days to 30 days prior to departure 50% of total.
14 days or less 100% of total WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT CLIENTS PURCHASE APPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE
Meals on tours
Tours include all breakfasts, morning teas/snacks and lunches. Evening meals or alcohol are not included and is at clients own expense. At Seven Spirit Bay, Davidson Safari Camp or Bamurru Plains, all meals are included.
Accommodation on tours
We choose to stay at the very best available lodge / hotel or permanent based safari camp accommodation throughout the region.
Knotts Crossing (3.5star) is located in the township of Katherine, close to Katherine Gorge.
Lake Bennett Resort (4star) is located close to Litchfield National Park and has excellent views overlooking the lake.
Cooinda Lodge (3.5star) is conveniently located just 1km from Yellow Waters in Kakadu National Park and has a more rustic outback atmosphere.
Crocodile Hotel (4.5star)famous for its unique architecture, is located further north in Kakadu in the township of Jabiru.
Seven Spirit Bay (4star) is located on the Coburg Peninsular in far West Arnhem Land and is a luxury wilderness lodge accessible only by light aircraft.
Davidsons Mt Borradaile Safari Camp is located in remote west Arnhem Land and is a comfortable permanent based tented camp. accessible by 4WD or light aircraft.
Bamurru Plains Safari Camp is located on the Mary River wetlands close to Kakadu and is the ultimate in wild bush luxury, accessible by 4WD or light aircraft.
Group size / Sub Tours
We guarantee a maximum group size of just 6 people on our scheduled tours. This does not extend to any sub tour that may be included in the program, ie cruises, scenic flights etc, where there may be more than 6 people participating in that part of the program.

Recommended clothing and personal items
While touring we recommend that you wear loose, cool, sturdy, light-coloured cotton clothing, comfortable sneakers or walking shoes, sun hat and sun block cream. Bring a towel, swimwear and insect repellent, camera and plenty of film and spare batteries. For extended touring please ensure that you have sufficient toiletries and / or medications for your entire trip and a flashlight / torch with spare batteries (you wont find a corner store in places visited).
Luggage
As you will be either flying in a light aircraft or travelling by road, baggage is limited to one (1) small overnight bag and one (1) day pack to a combined maximum of 10 kilograms (22 lbs.) per person. Any excess baggage should be stored at your hotel.
